Kaiser Permanente EEG Technologist II in Walnut Creek, California
Performs routine and complex EEG studies for various age groups from neonate to Geriatric.
Proficient in performing routine and complex EEG studies in the outpatient and inpatient setting.
Able to calibrate and adjust lab equipment.
Maintains proper functioning of EEG machine and supplies.
Responsible for keeping the equipment clean.
Prepares procedure room and patients for procedure.
Records information in patient's medical record.
Schedules appointments and completes appropriate forms as required by the department.
Performs other related duties as necessary.

Anticipates the customer's needs, takes proactive steps to meet those needs, by listening and taking responsibility within the scope to ensure issues are resolved.
Promptly responds to alarms and patient requests.

Minimum of one (1) year experience performing EEG procedures.
High School Diploma or GED.
Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for EEG technicians as specified by the Medical Board of California.
Ability to use personal computer.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information.
Ability to effectively present information, both verbal and written.
Must be willing to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.
