Become one of the leaders in our new Total Joint Program. You will guide patients through the journey of a total Joint replacement, including developing and teaching the TJ classes

SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT THROUGHOUT THE CARE CONTINUUM FOR TOTAL JOINT PATIENTS. DEVELOPS, COORDINATES AND FACILITATES TJ EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR PATIENTS AND NURSING STAFF. COMMUNICATES AND COLLABORATES WITH EXTERNAL FACILITIES, INTERNAL DEPARTMENTS, PHYSICIANS AND ORTHOPEDIC CLINICAL OPERATIONS MANAGERS. TRACKS/MONITORS PATIENT REPORTED OUTCOMES AND MEASURES, ACTING AS CONTACT WITH THE PROGRAM OFFICE REGARDING NATIONAL JOINT REGISTRY

HIGHLY DESIRABLE IS:

  • BSN

  • 2 YEARS ORTHOPEDIC SURGICAL NURSING

  • ORTHOPEDIC NURSE CERTIFICATION

  • CASE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

Basic Qualifications:

Experience

  • Minimum three (3) years of recent RN medical/surgical/ambulatory clinical experience required.

  • Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in ambulatory case management, care coordination or disease management.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or bachelor's of science.

License, Certification, Registration

  • Current Washington State RN license by date of hire/transfer.

  • Certification in case management field within two (2) years of hire/transfer.

  • Able to obtain CPR certification within six (6) months of hire/transfer.

Additional Requirements:

  • Effective, independent nursing judgment and skills, and use of evidence based clinical decision making criteria.

  • Knowledge in management of chronic disease process, nursing process and collaborative care planning.

  • Demonstrated skill and experience in effectively collaborating with care team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's of science in nursing.
