Kaiser Permanente Digital Analytics Advisor in Pleasanton, California
TheDigital Analytics team is responsible for providing internal & external customers w/information about how KP'sdigital presence is performing.
This is not a digital marketing position.
Supports data-informed decisions by consulting with clients to identify and clarify key business needs; translating business requirements; developing digital experience measurement plan that supports interactions across multiple channels; assessing effectiveness of digital experience; creating learning agenda including support of A/B testing; supporting a personalization and audience strategy with measurement plans focused on key segments of interest, creating digital analytic dashboards and reports to support product manager and business partners; communicating insights through data visualization; working with clients and staff to identify opportunities and methods to improve efficiencies with analysis; supporting and training end-users; documenting processes and deliverables.
The Advisor has responsibilities & skills similar to the Sr. Analyst, but operates w/more independence & more responsibility.
The Consultant is given more challenging projs to lead, & is expected to independently manage relationships w/customers & stakeholders.
Typical projs include quarterly regional reports which summarize all Web data available for each of our regional customers, or site-wide reporting which provides detailed information about usage of the features available on kp.org.
This position works very closely w/KP IT staff to maintain intimate knowledge of kp.org data sources & to identify technical solutions to meet business requirements.
Web Analytics Consultants tend to either have very strong proj Mgmt experience & interpersonal skills, or they are intermediate/advanced SAS programmers (a SAS test is administered during the interview process).

- Minimum six (6) years of related data analysis or applied research experience.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
Knowledge of PC and Mainframe reporting tools, Database structures, and ETL processes.
Expert knowledge of MS Office products, especially MS Excel.
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Minimum six (6) years of project management and/or data programming experience preferred.
Minimum three (3) years of Web analytics experience.
SAS Base and Advanced Programming certification preferred.
Knowledge of health care industry preferred.
Knowledge of Web reporting methodologies preferred.
