Ensures accurate and timely processing of a wide variety of salary-related functions for physicians, such as base salary adjustment, direct deposit, physician partnership status, merit cash awards/bonuses, anniversary increases, etc.
Audits incoming Physician Input Notification forms (changes to physician personnel records) for completeness and compliance with Partnership Agreement/Rules and Regulations.
Reviews, processes and calculates various salary actions such as salary increases, special increases, status and rate changes approved by the Board of Directors/Medical Directors.
Audits personnel/compensation-related data elements, statistics, presentations, and correspondence to physician managers, physicians and area payroll coordinators.
Audits incoming direct deposit forms for completeness, accuracy and compliance with system requirements.
Resolves direct deposit problems with various financial institutions.
Processes confidential payroll for physicians.
Ensures accuracy of checks generated; works closely with physicians to resolve salary issues.
Ensures accurate processing of garnishments, tax levies and subpoena requests.
Generates, audits and distributes reports on a regular basis.
Maintains accuracy of systems data and assists in cleaning up discrepancies.
Identifies new codes and ensures that system tables are updated.
Prepares spreadsheets with statistical data for senior managers.
- Minimum two (2) years of clerical experience.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
Knowledge of software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Ability to perform arithmetic calculations accurately.
Proven customer service skills and ability to interact with all levels of customers.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
- Associate's degree preferred.
