Kaiser Permanente Senior Financial Analyst in Honolulu, Hawaii
Performs economic/financial research and analyses for use in development of business strategies and tactics. Prepares statistical studies and economic forecasts of business conditions and trends. Provides guidelines for standard cost approaches used in business decisions. Establishes and monitors cost reduction programs. Conducts special studies that are complex in nature. Coaches and trains other financial analysts and provides work direction. Oversees and project manages preparation of wide variety of regional financial reports and special projects.

Prepares statistical studies and economic forecasts of business conditions, trends and draws relevant conclusions.
Provides guidelines for standard cost approaches used in business decisions.
Establishes and monitors cost reduction programs.
Defines issues and scope of assigned projects and determines approach and methodology.
Participates in development and implementation of long-range financial forecasts and related budgets and financial strategies or tactics.
Prepares and presents interpretation of findings.
Coaches and trains other financial analysts.
Provides work direction as appropriate.
Oversees and project manages preparation of wide variety of regional financial reports and special projects.
Minimum five (5) years financial analyst related experience.
Long-range planning and development of strategies experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
License, Certification, Registration
Demonstrated proficiency in accounting principles, budgeting, and auditing procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in decision making, influence, interpersonal relations, oral communication, problem solving, project management, quality management, results orientation, systems thinking, written communication, and leadership.
Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing, multimedia presentation, spreadsheet, and database PC applications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare customers, employers, consumers, economics, and practices and current business situations and trends.
