Kaiser Permanente Nursing Services Technical Analyst in Aurora, Colorado
Supports the Nursing Services department. Provides technical and analytical support, system administration across numerous systems that support regional nursing (KPHC, protocol applications, etc.) and tools used in the nursing department Designs and develops web based training modules in collaboration with the Nursing Services Departments and areas Nursing services supports. Provides technical administration for the protocols used in the region. Evaluates technology solutions required to support requests coming into Nursing Services. Assists with Business Case development. Performs data analysis and reporting in conjunction with the regional systems used for nursing. Manages the learning environment system that is accessed by regional nursing (this includes competency, BLS, ACLS, Learning modules and reporting). Analyzes operation services/systems and develops and presents recommendations for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of various processes and/or department functions.
KPCO protocol system administration.
Budgets, tracks and forecasts the cost for the tools and technologies under their job range.
Nursing Services web site administration including assisting in design and development of web based training modules.
Design and development of web based training. Develops and manages small core projects plans, including defining deliverables, key milestones and critical paths. Develops project outcomes and success measures. Identifies project barriers, risks and constraints and provides recommendations to mitigate. Develops strategic relationships with vendors for products and services related to work assigned in Nursing Services.
Provide functional support on Sharepoint including but not limited to Sharepoint components such as delivery of WebParts, Workflows, Content Types, branding and other custom site features. Maintains system including user management and licensing, adding fields to dropdowns, reporting and troubleshooting errors.
Work with Nursing Services department members to assist in redesign of processes; formulates and presents reports on process of studies and provides recommendations to management to improve operational systems, efficiencies and service levels.
Responsible for the time management system (training, support and reporting).
Captures intake requests and change requests for Nursing Services along with the tracking and processes of all requests.
Evaluates technical solutions to support requests of Nursing Services including cost analysis and business case development.
Analytical support for nursing services initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum one (1) year experience involving analytical assignments and process improvement.
Minimum one (1) year experience in data analytics and reporting.
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field or four (4) years directly related experience.
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma.
License, Certification, Registration
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Sharepoint front-end and report experience.
Experience with website administration.
Simulation technical support experience.
