The Audiologist will provide evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, education and appropriate referral to patients and their families, related to hearing and balance disorders. Provide care within Kaiser Permanente’s’ integrated group practice model with feedback to families, physicians, and other team members regarding diagnosis, treatment, and progress.

KPWAHTF Qualifications: Education Minimum Education Requirements Doctorate Degree; Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) Preferred Education Unspecified

Knowledge/Skills Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements Strong Verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, co-workers and other healthcare professionals. Intermediate Knowledge of clinical competency in auditory and vestibular diagnostic and rehabilitation audiology including amplification devices. Preferred Knowledge/Skills Expert level competence in required areas with specialty skills that may include advanced vestibular evaluation, Bone Anchored Hearing Aids, Cochlear Implants, and tinnitus treatment.

Experience Minimum Experience Requirements 1 year; Clinical experience (concurrent with Doctorate training). Preferred Experience 4 years; Experience in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology.

License/Certifications Minimum License/Certifications Requirements At time of hire; Current WA State Audiology License.
