Title: Research Associate II (CCHE) Location: WA - Seattle-Seattle-Metropolitan Park East Job Number: 172324

Mid-level evaluator for the Center for Community Health and Evaluation (CCHE) team. Primary leadership responsibility for smaller scientific evaluation projects or significant parts of larger projects. Develop study materials and collaborate on study design and protocol development. Participate in study analyses, quality assurance, and data interpretation. Participate in the dissemination of findings. Communicate with overall project lead regarding progress of evaluations. Conduct project planning. Meet quality standards and deliverables during all phases of the research project. Work with overall project leadership to mentor and train staff, build and maintain scientific quality, and implement strategies to continuously improve study management protocols and procedures. Write proposals for future funding, develop and maintain relationships with funders, and contribute to the advancement of CCHE strategic objectives. Knowledge/Skills Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements Advanced Interpersonal, and written skills, with ability to relate to diverse multidisciplinary teams of evaluators and project staff. Excellent organizational, negotiation, delegation, and project management skills. Strong abilities in change management, conflict resolution, coaching/mentoring. Effective leadership skills, including perceptiveness, critical thinking, sound judgment, systems thinking, and ability to be (and hold others) accountable. Ability to balance confident decision-making with respectful collaboration and judicious reliance on others’ counsel. Advanced Strong background in evaluation methods, including both qualitative and quantitative skills. Comprehensive knowledge of evaluation design and methodology.
