Title: Pharmacy Assistant - Contact Center (1.0 FTE, Renton) Location: WA - Seattle-Renton-GH Campus - Southeast Job Number: 171860

Pharmacy assistants provide support to the pharmacists and technicians by stocking, counting and other non-technical duties. May also dispense safe, effective medications to patients. Duties are performed under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Schedule is Monday-Sunday (variable) from 9:45AM-6:15PM. Qualifications: Education Minimum Education Requirements High School Diploma/GED Preferred Education Some college coursework and HIV/AIDS training. Knowledge/Skills Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements Intermediate level of ability to use available resources and tools efficiently and effectively; excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent customer service skills; ability to identify specified issues and bring to attention of pharmacist; ability to work effectively as a member of a team. May be required to travel to other Kaiser Permanente locations as needed. Preferred Knowledge/Skills Additional knowledge of managed care health systems and evidence-based medicine theories. Experience Minimum Experience Requirements 1 year of experience working in a customer service environment. Preferred Experience Additional experience in a pharmacy environment. License/Certifications Minimum License/Certifications Requirements At time of hire - Washington State Board of Pharmacy Assistant certification.
