Kaiser Permanente Regional Product Leader- Health Insurance in Atlanta, Georgia
The Regional Product Leader is responsible for managing one of KP's regional health insurance product teams, directly leading the development and management of the large commercial group product portfolio and supporting associated large group programs (National Accounts, Federal Employees program, Private Exchanges, etc), and in a matrixed management structure supporting the individual & family, small group, and ancillary product portfolios and associated programs. This includes leading activities and programs as the regional product lead to ensure that product agenda goals are achieved and projects and ideas move through the governance stage/gate decision process for all lines of business as well as having accountability to the region and/or functional leaders for the implementation of and periodic updates on key financial performance of KP products in the marketplace, ensuring that results meet or exceed those outlined in the Product Management /Development Business case. The Regional Product Leader is also responsible for the cross-LOB product roadmap, dashboard and product updates.
Essential Responsibilities: - Direct accountability for management of all regional product staff. - Lead product development for the regional mid, large, strategic group and Medicare LOBs/market segments. This includes overseeing the end-to- end cross-functional work involved in bringing the large commercial product offerings to market: Develop and manage mid-large market portfolio - market & competitive landscape, capability, feasibility and plan design development, executive alignment, etc. Oversees the regional team responsible for the Annual Benefit Cycle process to collect all key large custom account, S&AM and market requests into a single forum for feasibility, senior executive alignment, initiative ownership and decision making. Manages consultant level engagements.
- Support the regional individual & family, small group, and ancillary product portfolios and associated programs in a matrixed management structure.

Managing assessment of regional product performance enhancement opportunities, line extension opportunities, and retirement recommendations across all LOBs.
Responsibility for the cross-LOB product roadmap, dashboard and product updates.
Ensuring that Program policies and programs are revised to incorporate best practices across all LOBs.
- Resolving product related issues across all LOBs.
- Acting as subject matter expert and content owner for all key Georgia product management initiatives and activities across all LOBs.
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Experience - Minimum Seven (7) years related experience. Education
- Bachelor's degree in related a field OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required. License, Certification, Registration
- Minimum ten (10) years of related experience preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of related product development experience for a relevant market segment preferred.
Master's degree preferred.
